Since she was rescued from Shirdi, 9 hrs away, and brought to us, the staff decided to name her Sairam. She had a gaping head wound, the kind that has been proved to be most difficult to treat. Her foot was crushed under a vehicle with exposed bones. She had a liver issue and very low Haemoglobin level.
But she was also a miracle. She responded to our treatment from day one. She was a most cooperative patient. And one day we suddenly realised that she was actually a she…!! So we promptly dropped the last alphabet from her name and just before her release, she became Saira!!
