Face smashed by a heavy stone when she caught a thief lurking inside her Master’s go-down, Bhota ( flat-faced ) was admitted by her Master from Chinchani. She travelled more than 125 kms in an auto rickshaw on NH 8 in her owners arms, who just had one request – Save her, she tried to save mine.
At the first glance, all our staff nodded : there was hardly a chance that she would be able to eat, with the top part of her mouth completely smashed , even if we managed to save her life. She would have to be hand fed liquids and semi liquids we said. The owner was ready for anything for her.
2 months later, she was released back and last we heard, she is being fed semi liquids with feeding bottles and 50 ml syringes.
She continues to guard Her Master’s Godown.
