Laraku, because even after he was rescued with multiple fractures in his hind leg, he still tried to break his cage open trying to run away. Laraku, because when the vets unanimously nodded in agreement about euthanasia, he started eating on his own. Laraku, because his blood levels spiked up and Dr. Rina took a tough decision to amputate his leg. Laraku, because through the nail biting hours post surgery, while we expected his life to be snuffed out, he woke up with a large thump of his tail and went back to his recovery very seriously. And Laraku, because, in an amazingly short span of few weeks, he was strong and active enough for a beautiful release in an undisclosed destination. Thanking RAWW India for their logistic support all through the magical few weeks with Laraku.
